“Do you have any great deals right now?” I hear that phrase at least weekly, and I almost always cringe. Why? Well, more often than not once I describe what it means to get a great deal, folks are out! So, what could a deal mean?
Flights with 5-hour layovers but cost $200 less. Your time is no doubt more valuable. A resort with sub-par cleaning standards and less than stellar food. Who wants to get stuck at a dirty resort eating bad food? Or what about those cheap $20 airport transfers. Sounds like a good deal, right? Think again. You could spend hours making stop after stop dropping other travelers off before getting to your final destination. Worse yet, did you know that some online booking engines have “walk policies”? Meaning you could get to the resort and be walked! You have no guaranteed reservation, and they’ll put you wherever they see fit. Pretty scary, right?!
A deal might get you a great price, but why sacrifice time, enjoyment, comfort, and so much more in the name of a few dollars. What you really want is a great value!
Value provides the most bang for your buck and time! And that is exactly what I want for my clients—a vacation that provides them with the best of the best for their budget.
